Hijack the Disco HIJACK THE DISCO traverses the sonic spectrum. The dynamic, democratic and cohesive three-piece triggers mixed feelings of tragedy and hopefulness, desperation and strength. Formed in 2000 by Michael Mahony (bass & moog synth) and David Tsui (guitar) in vermont, the band released two full-length home recordings and recorded/produced their self-titled EP on their own label, the restless press. After a two year hiatus, a relocation to oakland california, and the addition of drummer Trevor Wencl, the new material gives way to a more mature sound and an increasingly dynamic vocal interplay between Mahony and Tsui.
